ntense purple ruby color. Pungent aromatic nose with heaps of black woodland fruit, dark cherry and plum. Lovely clean,crisp freshness to the bouquet. The palate is rounded, smooth and perfectly balanced. Flavors of redcurrant, raspberry andblueberry in abundance, with a delicious hint of black licorice, wonderful purity of fruit. In true Taylor Fladgate style, thewine is very well structured with big firm tannins that hold the wine nicely together. The finish is wonderfully long.
Pairs well with robust soft and hard cheeses, especially blue cheeses such as Stilton and Roquefort. An LBV is also deliciouswith desserts made with chocolate or fresh berries.
