It's 100% Cab Sauv from Lodi, ripened to full flavor at a modest 13.5% alcohol. Loads of dark blackberry, boysenberry and cherry fruit show on the nose and palate with subtle accents of dried herb and balsam. A bold spice note comes up on the palate and sings out with the dark fruit over the smooth, easy, finish. About as fine a cookout/party Cab as we've seen at this price in years.
